2025 Election Update
I wish to thank all the residents of Balderton, Middlebeck and Fernwood who voted for me in the County Council Elections,

I have been humbled by your support and trust . Although unsuccessful my determination to help , support and provide for all my Parish and District Residents is as strong as ever and all that has been achieved in these past two years is just the start and has intensified my resolve to be a independent councillor who always put there residents first , not agenda or ego . My door is always open , for any issues or problems or just a chat .

Onwards and upwards supporting our Community.

TWO YEARS ON …

Two years on from getting elected as ward member for Balderton South at District and Parish I have also taken on the role as The Chair of Newark and Sherwood District and Vice Chair of Balderton Parish Council,  the reasons I decided to stand have not changed ,but have intensified.  I now have the opportunity to change things

and represent people not a political party,  this is not always easy but I will strive to so the best for my residents .

Working as a shop manager in Balderton and also calling the village my home for most of my life has left me totally invested in Balderton and the District.  As a councillor and dog walker I am always around to talk too, to get help from and to promote the needs of our communities,  getting planters , bins ,dog bins and play equipment on part of my ward that has been neglected for quite a while , bringing pride back into the area. Joining with community groups both local and District wide , getting residents perspective and dealing with their problems , I am always here to listen . Working with NSDC to create a new community garden in Balderton.

It is my pleasure to work with all the amazing independent councillors at Balderton Parish Council , getting safer streets funding which has been spent wisely to massively reduce instances if ASB in Balderton. Creating a newletter which is delivered to every household, holding meet a greet seasons a Website and Facebook page make the council open and transparent.

My priorities are the same as yours and as such I will strive to create connected communities ,better economies  more socially mobile learning facilities  for our great district .
